<hi style=afpcap>This F-16C fighter belongs to the 57th Wing at Nellis AFB, Texas. The wing once operated the Fighting Falcon as an aggressor, or mock enemy, and still has F-16s in camouflage schemes which represent hostile aircraft. The F-16 radome is usually gray rather than black as shown here. Glinting in natural metal on the nose, but normally painted on most F-16s, is an L-shaped pitot tube known to F-16 crews as the "dog pecker."</hi>
